Hi, I'm Ahlam
i built this little virtual postcard tool because i love creating small things that make people pause, smile, and share something meaningful.
i'm a UX/UI designer at heart, but i also enjoy building tiny interactive tools that bring a bit more intention and poetry into the digital world.
this project is my way of rethinking how we connect online —
less noise, more thoughtful gestures.
How this virtual card editor started ?
What started as a simple idea became a small experiment about slowing down.
This project was born after I sent an important letter to a friend… that never arrived. It was a message I didn't want to send as a DM or an email. It deserved something more intentional — a postcard.
So I started wondering:
what if we could recreate that feeling online, without losing the poetry of paper?
This is how the virtual postcard creator came to life.
A small space where you can upload an image or draw on the back of a postcard, flip it like a real one, write a short or long message, and send it through a unique link to someone who matters to you.
Not just another message in a crowded inbox.
A small gesture.
A slower, more thoughtful way to say something.
This project is also part of the growing "touch grass" movement — a reminder to step away from constant scrolling, create with intention, and leave room for our thoughts.
Not because digital is bad,
but because creativity needs calm,
and we don't have to be online all the time.
Less noise.
More meaning.
Touch grass. Not your phone.
